Chrome Book Read & Write Google Support Cambridge Street Public School

Grade Level: Elementary

Volunteers are needed to support students using assistive technology, specifcally Chrome Books with Read & Write Google. Training is provided. Software included Speech to Text, Text to Speech, Word Predication, Vocabulary Builder, etc.  Students have average or above average intelligence but may have language learning disabilities. Volunteers are needed on a consistent basis--a commitment of 1-2 times a week is required. 

Requires a recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC).  (Instructions on how to get a PVSC will be emailed to you after you apply on-line).    

All volunteers assist under the supervision of a teacher but all volunteers must be fluent on assistive technology and be able to work indedpendantly.
