Heart of the City Piano Program

Grade Level: Elementary

The Heart of the City - Piano Program is committed to bringing the joy of music to the lives of the socio-economically under-privileged children of Ottawa. Volunteer piano teachers and rudimentary theory tutors needed at several elementary local schools.  Join our community of musical volunteers and bring the joy of music to an elementary student in need.  

Requires a recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC).  (Instructions on how to get a PVSC will be emailed to you after you apply on-line).   

All volunteers assist under the supervision of a teacher. 

If interested please contact the Heart of the City Program Piano Program Coordinator(s) at :  uottawa.hcpp@gmail.com.  After you are pre-approved by the Heart of the City Coordinator(s) please go ahead and register on-line at:  www.onfe-rope.ca/ovie/application and quote this volunteer opportunity. Once the screening process is complete and approved, you will be contacted by the school volunteer coordinator to set-up a time to meet to discuss the details/scheduling.
