Whether you have it all mapped out or really don't know what the future holds take a minute to think about how you'll set yourself apart from the competition. How will you distinguish yourself and develop that edge that employers are looking for?
The importance of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness is key to your future success. Learn how JA can help you develop successful financial management skills, explore the potential of becoming an entrepreneur, and provide you with the skills necessary to succeed in a global economy.
JA Company Program offers high school students an experiential learning opportunity in a team working environment where you will gain valuable employment skills while you learn about entrepreneurship and create an enterprise of your own.
With the support and mentorship of volunteer business advisors from the local community, JA Company Program will give you the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career regardless of your career field interest.
You will gain the knowledge needed to organize and operate a real business. As a decision maker of your own company, you will learn what risks and rewards come with owning a business and how to build positive relationships with the community. While operating your business, you will pick a product or service, sell shares, produce and market your product or service and appoint a management team that best suits your company while managing the financial aspects of the company.
Pick an idea... form a leadership team... produce your product or deliver a service... then make profit and celebrate the achievement of a successful venture!
JA Company programs runs as an after-school program, in-school program and is now a Co-op program.
Students can register at any time and a member of our team will be in touch!
