School Breakfast Program
School Breakfast Program Welcomes New School

October 17, 2012 / School Breakfast Program

The ONFE School Breakfast Program partnership is welcoming a new school as of September 2012. The Breakfast Program will be extended to l'Éducation Permanente  - a school in the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) school board.

School Breakfast Program will serve students in 2 programs of l'Éducation Permanente: La Relance a partnership with the Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario and Le Répère. These 2 programs support some of our community's most vulnerable youth. Students in these programs are either unable to attend classes in the regular school system or are benefitting from an alternative school model; the programs ensure that these students get the support they need to stay in school and on-track for success. Many of them arrive at school without having had breakfast; ONFE and the School Breakfast Program partners are pleased to be able to provide nutritious food to students to help them achieve their goals.
