School Breakfast Program
Dream Team 2016 hard at work training for Machu Picchu climb

February 24, 2016 / School Breakfast Program

Ottawa entrepreneur Shawn Dawson will once again be leading a group of adventurous climbers up one of the world’s tallest peaks to raise money for seven local charities. Over the past five years, the Dream Mountains Foundation has raised nearly $75,000 to support the Ottawa School Breakfast Program through these expeditions! We are pleased to introduce the “Dream Team” that is currently raising funds for the program while training to take on Machu Picchu this spring. Please visit their campaign pages and help us spread the word about their incredible fundraising adventure!

Mike Baine

Mike has spent the last 43 years working and volunteering in programs and schools for children and youth. Having worked closely with ONFE for many years, he has seen the value of the School Breakfast Program first hand and is looking forward to taking on Machu Picchu to support students in need.

Kelly Browning

Kelly is excited to be climbing with the Dream Mountains Foundation and happy to be involved with the School Breakfast Program!

Anne Cole

Anne has always looked for ways to give back to her community and after a fellow Rotarian participated in the Mount Kilimanjaro team several years ago, she set off to learn more about the Dream Mountains Foundation. Anne is excited to be joining the Machu Picchu team this year!

We would like to wish our climbers good luck with their training and fundraising campaigns.  Thank you from the ONFE team for all your hard work!
