  • AT Implementation Plan. This site provides implementation tips and recommendations based on experiences within the Ottawa Catholic School Board. Content is presented in an easy-to-follow, engaging style.
  • Landmark College Here you will find an extensive selection of online tutorials, tip sheets, handouts and video clips on how to use common AT software. Some special features in Microsoft Office applications are also covered.
  • Special Education Technology British Columbia The SET-BC Learning Centre provides an extensive and frequently updated collection of resources, from software training modules to webcasts on AT implementation strategies.

  • Centre for Applied Special Technology (CAST) The CAST Teaching Every Student website is an extensive resource focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). There are resources and tool kits to support strategies for engaging all learners.
  • “How May I Help You?” is a training module that offers staff in school boards an orientation to the Accessible Customer Service Standard that was developed under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
  • The Assistive Technology Training Online Project (ATTO) provides information on AT applications that help students with disabilities in elementary classrooms. This site includes a variety of resources as well as tutorials for various software applications.
  • Michigan Integrated Technology Supports: a series of downloadable PowerPoint presentations that may be helpful for teachers who are new to AT and for those helping to train colleagues.
